Retired Fiesta Peacock and Fiesta Black - RIP Fiesta Colors

Fiesta dinnerware colors come and go. In most years one color is introduced and one is retired, this year Fiesta shook things up and retired two colors.

Fiesta Peacock the bright, bold, good morning blue that was introduced in 2005 was retired. In addition Fiesta Black, the stately neutral that helps set a tables mood or make other Fiesta colors pop is being retired.

Fiesta Black was part of Fiesta's 50th anniversary re-launch in 1986 and had a solid 28 year run.

While these Fiesta colors will be missed, they are not gone yet. If you love these colors now is the time to pick up a place setting, mug, pitcher, bowl or accessories in these great colors while stock is plentiful.

Using Flamingo, 2013's retired color, as an example; place settings, plates, heart bowl and bowls in general tend to sell out first. So while you can wait, our advice is that if you want it go ahead and order it. Then you'll have the Fiesta Peacock and Black dinnerware pieces you want.

Personally, Peacock remains one of my favorite Fiesta colors and it is a little disappointing to see it go, but if there was never any change Fiesta wouldn't be America's favorite dinnerware.

On the flip side, we are just 3 months away from learning what Fiesta's next color will be!
Until then pick up some great dinnerware while it's in stock
